Know About Wheat Grass That Brings Vitality !

WHEAT CROP: Triticum vulgare (Bread wheat)

Wheat is a well known cereal crop widely cultivated all over the world. Wheat grows as a seedling and then as a plant with grassy leaf blades, yields flowers and wheat grains. However, the leaves get dried and become chaff finally in the field and used in various domestic purposes and paper industry.

WHEAT GRASS!

But the wheat grass is grown in a natural soil and organic medium only for just 7 days and up to a height of 6 to 9 inches. The young lush green wheat crop is simply cut, cleaned and crushed into juice.

ENERGETIC WHEAT GRASS!

The deep green colored juice is rich in chlorophyll and protein, with about 30 various enzymes, minerals and vitamins including B 12, ensure vital life energy. Wheat grass is now well known for its medicinal properties.

HOW TO GROW THE WHEAT GRASS?

SEED TREATMENT!
Soak a cup of hard winter wheat seeds for about 5 to 8 hours in a liter of water. You may add a few drops of organic vinegar to the water, which become slightly acidic. This keeps out the fungus and mold from the seeds.

Put the seeds in a strainer and rinse it twice or thrice with water that used for soaking seeds. Wash it.

SEEDS SPROUT!
When the seeds sprout, they are ready for transplanting into the growing trays. The trays are 6 inches in height and they are filled with organic soil to ½” height. The sprouted seeds are spread on the soil and sprinkled with water.

WHEAT GROWS INTO GRASS!
The tray is covered with another inverted tray and a wet towel. The wetting is done daily till it grows to the height of 6 to 9 inches tall. The fresh green wheat grass is just cut at the bottom level, cleaned and crushed to extract juice.
